Stable corn prices stuck in a sideways trading range may not be very exciting for producers, but they are favorable for end users of various varieties, almost all of whom may pencil out some profit in 2019.
March corn is up 1 3/4 cents, March soybeans are up 4 3/4 cents, and March K.C. wheat is up 4 1/4 cents.
Market weakness through the end of the week is creating additional market pressure in cattle and hog futures. This could allow for moderate price shifts as traders adjust positions ahead of the long holiday weekend.
